North-West District (Botswana)
North-West District Council is one of the local authorities of Botswana. It was established in 1966, overlapping the administrative districts of Chobe and Ngamiland. Since 2006, when the Chobe District Council was established, it only administers Ngamiland.(http://www.laws.gov.bw/, http://www.mlg.gov.bw/)
==Location==
North-West's location in the country causes it to share borders with the following foreign areas:
* Omaheke Region, Namibia - southwest
* Otjozondjupa Region, Namibia - west
* Kavango East Region, Namibia - northwest
* Zambezi Region, Namibia - north
Domestically, it borders the following districts:
* Central District - southeast
* Ghanzi District - southwest
* Chobe District - east
